Nine months of paperless transactions make us 12 feet tall
09/30/2011 By Mitchell Jacover, Strategic Business Manager
Twelve feet tall. Well, 12.69 feet tall, to be exact. That's how tall the stack of paper would be if all of our participating agents' paperless transactions from the past nine months had been printed out instead. That's 38,058 pages, which is equivalent to 7.6 cases of paper; which would be more than 6.61 miles long if laid end-to-end; and is the equivalent of more than four whole trees. When we started tracking our paperless transactions back in January of this year, I don't think any of us expected such overwhelming results. So thank you to our "pioneering" paperless agents, who have kept their paperwork out of the recycling bins (or worse - the landfills). And thank you to the clients who have embraced this new technology. You are making a difference. And that difference can be measured in trees.
